Length: Start measuring from the base of the neck (back side) down to the bottom hem of the garment. Ensure the tape stays aligned with the body — straight and without curves or deviations.

Sleeve: Begin at the highest point of the shoulder, where the sleeve typically starts, and run the tape along the outside of the arm down to the wrist bone. For a more precise fit, keep the arm slightly bent throughout the process.

Place the measuring tape at the top of the waist — where trousers typically sit — and measure down to the desired length, usually at or just above the ankle. The tape should follow the natural line of the leg, remaining stretched and aligned.
